Great location off I-35, stopped for the night for a good night's rest. Very quiet. Room was clean, although the bathroom could use some maintenance. Everything else was perfect.

This is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There are many things around here like Walmart and other stores and fast food. They charge you for water $2 a bottle not even a complimentary bottle like most hotels. Breakfast is not included. They have snack item you can buy in the lobby. The reason we stayed here was to go to Canyon lake for a wedding. There is nothing closer. The room wasn't really clean. We found a flosstick on the floor which we didn't pick up, stuff under the beds which we didn't pick up, and hairpins near the TV. The room was very dark, It lacked lights. The beds didn't have tables on both sides so that was annoying for the purposes of being able to put your things. The lamp on the middle table took up the whole table so you had no room to put anything. There is a lack of plugs to charge your phone or other devices. USB charging ports were lacking. Good thing I brought an extension cord and USB extender. No full size mirror for getting dressed. Or any mirror outside of the bathroom. The TV remote didn't work and sometimes the only way to turn it off was to unplug it which was very difficult. The beds were averagely comfortable. It wasn't a great room but it wasn't terrible. It would be better if it was cleaner. The walls here seem thin and compared to some other hotels. I recommend you bring a sound machine. If we weren't going to a wedding near canyon lake I would highly recommend you stay closer to the Riverwalk.

The first night had kids running halls until 11 PM. The second was very quiet.
